At the foot of Écouen chateau, around a paved courtyard, a former farmstead converted into a rental complex

. The former farmstead appears on the 1827 Napoleonic land register and retains its original layout around a large paved courtyard. An imposing carriage entrance opens onto this central space, around which the buildings follow a U-shaped plan. The street facade, remodelled in the early 20th century, places the property today among the notable buildings of Écouen’s historic centre. The property, refurbished and then given over to letting, offers a floor area of approximately 700 m² divided between 13 units. These comprise one commercial unit, four in mixed residential and professional use, and several dwellings. The dwellings occupy the former agricultural buildings, where the original proportions remain legible. Every unit is currently let. One apartment occupies the former studio of the painter Charles Bertrand d’Entraygues (1850–1929). The vast studio window still lights a main room.
