From the ruins of an ancient rural dwelling ‘Casa di ritrovo’ in the heart of the Lugana vineyards, a splendid villa has been built.
For its construction on two levels, state-of-the-art building inserts and criteria were adopted, but above all the materials that have been preserved and cleaned up were recovered, such as hollow tiles, tiles, bricks, stones, and pebbles from the past, both local and from abroad. From the important entrance with an electric gate, a pathway between the property’s green lawn and olive trees leads us to the porch anticipated by a mulberry tree over 400 years old and a protected artesian stone well.
From the wide wooden porch, we enter the large open space of the living area with a bush-hammered white travertine floor and heating underneath. Here a well-equipped kitchen with an island precedes the large living room with a fireplace that heats the entire villa and the self-supporting staircase with treads in red Iranian stone.
The attic sleeping area has recovered ancient natural oak trees for the flooring and a domotic system for closing the doors in each room, with details that alternate between the antique and the modern. The sleeping area contains two large double bedrooms, a single bedroom, and a bathroom with a Bisazza mosaic shower. All the window sills on the first floor come from the embrasures of Piazza Brà in Verona.

The entire perimeter of the villa has been clad externally with stone, brick, and tile walls up to 70 cm thick with a cork cavity and concealed security gates for each door and window.
The floor that divides the two floors is made of wooden joists and planks recovered from ancient Mantuan farmhouses.
The entire property is fenced and under video surveillance, also remotely, and is supported by a 6 KWatt photovoltaic system with storage batteries and heat pump.
