Historic Palace located in Guardiagrele, in the province of Chieti. The 17th-century palace belonged to the Barons Elisii and is still owned by their heirs. In the past, the palace boasted 25 rooms; today it consists of 3 apartments, one in the southern area, one in the central part, and one in the northern area. The main facade of the palace is made of mixed stone and bricks, characterized by large windows with Baroque frames on brackets along the entire noble floor and a rusticated portal. Beyond the entrance, through a barrel-vaulted corridor, one arrives at a courtyard where a second portal opens. The latter bears on the key stone a coat of arms traceable to the family of the Barons Elisii who still inhabit the palace. The building, a true gem of the Guardiagrele community, has a total area of about 500 sqm, in addition to a garage, a storage room, and two commercial premises. The last complete renovation dates back to the 1950s. The exterior of the palace is currently protected by the Fine Arts. The internal courtyard is also splendid, where we find wonderful capitals with the original family coat of arms.
