Immersed in the heart of Chianti Classico this 180 hectare estate enjoys incredible views, between Radda and Castellina in Chianti the property stands on the ancient Via Romea and consists of a villa with outbuilding whose origins date back to the 1200s. Built as a Florentine fort which probably became a monastery and resting station for pilgrims with the name of Spedale di S. Jacopo. It is currently the center of the estate and houses a hotel with 16 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms in the main villa, 9 bedrooms in the first dependance, as well as a restaurant with a capacity for 80 people, garden and parking, the meeting room and a consecrated chapel.
