Located at the entrance of the village of Cassis, this superb recently renovated property embodies the art of living in Provence. A true haven of peace, it captivates with its subtle blend of Mediterranean authenticity and contemporary refinement. Set on a landscaped plot overlooking the vineyards, the house opens onto a lush garden planted with century-old olive trees and aromatic plants. It offers an unobstructed panoramic view of the Cassis countryside. The main house, built in authentic stone style, spans two levels connected by an interior staircase and an elevator. The main level features an incredible living space of about 80 m² filled with light: two living rooms with fireplaces, a dining room, and an exceptional kitchen designed as a true gathering place. There is also a pantry/laundry room, numerous closets, and guest toilets. This entire single-level space opens through large bay windows onto a 200 m² terrace shaded by majestic plane trees, adjacent to a fully equipped summer kitchen (pizza oven, plancha, barbecue). On the same level: a master suite with a shower room and a second bedroom with a mezzanine and toilet. On the garden level, accessible from inside or independently from outside, there are five bedrooms each with its own shower room and private toilet, four of which have independent entrances. Additional technical spaces include a large fitted laundry room, a stone wine cellar, a dressing room, and a closed garage of 20 m². An independent annex completes the property, which can serve as an 8th bedroom, office, or gym according to needs. Technical features have been given special attention: ducted air conditioning, Sonos sound system, electric gate with video intercom, alarm, automatic irrigation and lighting, and full sewage connection. The house can be sold fully furnished. A rare property in Cassis, ideal for a large family, receptions, or a stylish and original guesthouse project. Only 20 minutes on foot from the port, beach, shops, typical restaurants, and markets. This house offers an exceptional living environment just steps from the sea. The heated 13x5 pool with its wonderful relaxation area and pool house invites well-being and joyful summers, awaiting cocktail hour at sunset. Let’s not forget the pétanque court and walks in the hills. Ideal year-round vacation home. The Provence of your dreams. Cassis occupies one of the most distinctive positions on the French Mediterranean coast, set between the limestone massif of the Calanques and the Cap Canaille, the highest sea cliff in France. The town has retained the character of a genuine Provençal fishing village, with a working port, ochre and pastel facades, and a market square shaded by plane trees. Its appellation wine, produced on the surrounding hillside vineyards, is among the most respected whites in Provence.
The port area anchors daily life, with the market running on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Restaurants including Nino and La Villa Madie, the latter holding two Michelin stars, define the dining scene. The Calanques National Park, established in 2012, begins at the edge of town and offers direct access to protected coastal trails and coves.
Cassis sits 30 kilometres east of Marseille, reachable by train from Cassis station in approximately 40 minutes, or by car via the A50 motorway in around 25 minutes. Marseille Provence Airport is 45 kilometres away, roughly 40 minutes by car, with direct connections to Paris, London, Brussels, and major European hubs. The TGV from Marseille Saint-Charles reaches Paris Gare de Lyon in approximately three hours.
