Castello DI Fiagnano A Casalfiumanese: Tra Bellezza, Storia E Magia

On the hills between Castel San Pietro and Imola, immersed in the splendor of unique places and overlooking the enchanting natural amphitheater of the Santerno valley and the Pliocene badlands, stands the Castle of Fiagnano. It was built between the 10th and 11th centuries and documented since 1127 with papal bulls that testified to its symbolic power between Bologna and Imola.

In this historically rich place, but also full of many tangible mysteries that reach us today, Pope Honorius II (1124-1130) was born. He is known for promoting the rule of the Knights Templar. There are many legends, as well as modern testimonies, linking this place to seemingly inexplicable events.

The property needs complete renovation. A farmhouse within the estate has been brought to a rough state.

The owned woods are rich in both white and black truffles. An integral part of the property is a cultivation of rare Sardinian Saffron. Negotiations are confidential.
