Cannes occupies a singular position on the French Riviera, a city whose international reputation rests on the film festival but whose daily reality is defined by the Boulevard de la Croisette, one of Europe’s most recognisable seafront promenades. Cannes train station connects directly to Nice in around 30 minutes and to Marseille in approximately 90 minutes on the TGV.
