Hystoric Villa With Breathtaking Sea View

LOCATION
Villa Sauvignon is located on the hills of Camaiore, surrounded by a hectare and a half of olive grove just 4 km from the centre of Camaiore and 5 from the beaches of Versilia.
The property is accessed through an avenue placed in a private position that leads to the side of the garden in front of the villa, a beautiful natural terrace from which you can admire a breathtaking view from Livorno to the Gulf of Poets in Liguria.

GARDEN AND OUTDOOR SPACE
The total plot covers about 15,000 square meters around the villa. A terraced secular olive grove occupies a large part of the land, where there is also a second access avenue and cellars.
Next to the villa there is the Italian garden on different levels and the orangerie with several foun-tains and original mosaics. On the highest part, in a reserved and sunny position, there is the 40 square meters swimming pool.
In the outdoor area, in front of an incredible panorama, there is a large covered terrace where you can spend relaxing moments in the open air, enjoying the beautiful sea view.

FINISHES
The villa, built in 1788, was renovated between 1985 and 1990 with great care and respect for the original characteristics and materials: you can still appreciate the beautiful frescoes and original Venetian floors.

INTERIOR LAYOUT
VILLA
With a rectangular plan, the villa is spread over three levels for a total of 900 square meters, On the front of the villa there are two entrances leading into halls, one with a billiard. The ground floor con-sists of a large kitchen with fireplace, the dining room, the entrance hall, the billiard room, a room currently used as a reception, a cellar and a bathroom. The small private chapel is still consecrated and used for private ceremonies. The stone staircase leads to the first floor dividing it into two symmetrical areas, each with a central room with two double bedrooms overlooking that can be used as bedrooms, service rooms or closets. In the left wing there is the main suite with a private sitting area and en-suite bathroom, while in the right wing there are two double bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. At the use of the four rooms there is also an additional bathroom on the floor.
The top floor, with terracotta ceiling with exposed beams, has been renovated with a more modern flavour and consists of a large room with fireplace, a kitchen, four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

DEPENDANCE
Under the covered terrace we find the former oil mill, in which the old machinery is preserved, which has been converted into an independent apartment with a large open-plan with kitchen and bath-room.
