Residential Caimari Spain

Caimari is a small mountain village in the municipality of Selva, set in the foothills of the Serra de Tramuntana in the interior of Mallorca. The village retains a genuinely rural character, with stone houses lining narrow lanes and an unhurried pace that distinguishes it sharply from the coastal resort towns. It sits at the edge of the protected Tramuntana landscape, which carries UNESCO World Heritage status for its cultural and agricultural heritage.

Caimari is known across the island for its olive oil production, and the local cooperative, Oli de Caimari, is a practical landmark for residents. The market town of Inca is roughly five kilometres away, offering weekly markets, supermarkets, and everyday services. Palma is approximately 30 kilometres to the south.

Inca has a direct rail connection to Palma on the Serveis Ferroviaris de Mallorca line, with journey times of around 35 to 40 minutes. From Caimari, Inca station is a short drive of under ten minutes. Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 35 kilometres from the village, reachable in around 35 to 40 minutes by car, with extensive year-round connections to mainland Spain and major European cities.
