Cabris is a medieval hilltop village in the Alpes-Maritimes, sitting at around 550 metres above sea level on the edge of the Grasse pre-Alps. Its position gives it one of the most commanding views on the Côte d’Azur, taking in the Lac de Saint-Cassien, the Esterel massif, and on clear days the Mediterranean coastline as far as the Lérins Islands. The village retains its historic core of narrow stone lanes, a ruined château, and a church dating to the 12th century.
Daily life centres on the village square and its small selection of restaurants and cafés. Grasse, the world capital of perfumery, is roughly five kilometres away and provides supermarkets, markets, schools, and medical services. Mougins and Valbonne, both well-served by international restaurants and specialist shops, are within a 20-minute drive.
Grasse train station connects to Cannes in approximately 30 minutes, with onward TGV services from Cannes to Nice and beyond. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is around 40 kilometres from Cabris, typically a 45 to 55-minute drive depending on traffic, providing direct connections to most major European cities and intercontinental routes.
