Elevated Beachfront Living At Mandarin Oriental Residences

Mandarin Oriental Grand Cayman will bring a new level of resort living to St James’ Point, a private and secluded enclave on the island’s southernmost coast. Set across 67 acres of tropical maritime forest with more than 2,700 feet of continuous ocean frontage, the resort is planned around 91 guest rooms and a curated collection of 42 private residences within two distinctive residential buildings: Beach House and Ocean House. Completion is scheduled for Q1 2028.

Beach House Residences
Crowning the top five levels of the hotel, Beach House comprises 20 two-, three- and four-bedroom residences designed to connect indoor and outdoor living. Principal rooms feature direct beach and ocean views, while expansive private verandas and terraces are equipped with electricity and water and designed for outdoor entertaining.
Interiors are designed by Meyer Davis, with architecture by Hart Howerton. Chef’s kitchens feature custom millwork cabinetry, Calacatta countertops and backsplashes, together with an imported European appliance suite. Bathrooms incorporate natural stones including travertine and limestone, with most five-fixture primary bathrooms offering windowed soaking tubs overlooking the ocean. Living spaces feature elevated 10-foot ceilings, while secured parking and private elevator access add convenience. Owners meeting specified requirements may also participate in Mandarin Oriental’s rental programme.

Ocean House Residences
Perched on the ocean cliffs, Ocean House offers a more private residential setting, with 22 two-, three- and four-bedroom residences arranged around gracious private wrap-around terraces. A dedicated Ocean House Club is reserved for owners, featuring a social lounge opening onto a landscaped infinity pool overlooking the ocean.
Architecture and interiors are by Paris-based AW2. Residences feature limestone flooring, oak millwork and stone, marble and brass detailing, while exhibition kitchens combine integrated appliances with handcrafted cabinetry and fluted oak upper cabinets. Primary bathrooms are finished in luminous limestone with oversized soaking tubs framed by ocean views, and residences feature 9’6” ceiling heights. Owners meeting specified requirements may participate in the Mandarin Oriental rental programme.

Resort Lifestyle
Residence owners enjoy preferred access to the services and amenities of the five-star resort, including the oceanfront spa, fitness centre, multiple pools, dining venues, racquet and padel courts, children’s facilities and dedicated concierge services. The 1,000-foot crescent beach includes a protected harbour for calm swimming, cabana service and water sports, while an on-site dive centre can arrange diving, fishing excursions and tailored boat tours.
Mandarin Oriental will provide property management, with a la carte services including housekeeping, childcare, personal training and in-residence dining. The resort is approximately 20 minutes from Owen Roberts International Airport and is positioned to offer seclusion while remaining accessible to Grand Cayman’s conveniences.
