Benahavís Villa

Benahavís occupies a privileged position in the western Costa del Sol, set in the foothills of the Sierra de las Nieves at roughly 300 metres above sea level. The municipality is defined by its dense Mediterranean woodland, dramatic ravines, and a compact whitewashed village centre that has retained its Andalusian character while attracting one of the highest concentrations of luxury residential developments on the Spanish coast. Its combination of mountain setting and coastal proximity gives it a distinct identity that separates it from the resort towns below.

The village itself is known across the region for its restaurant strip along Calle Andalucía, with establishments including El Refugio and Los Abanicos drawing diners from Marbella and beyond. Marbella’s Golden Mile and Puerto Banús are approximately 15 minutes by car, providing access to international retail, beach clubs, and the marina. The Marbella Club and Puente Romano hotels are within easy reach for dining and leisure.

Marbella is roughly 20 kilometres to the east, reachable in under 25 minutes by car via the A-7 coastal road or the AP-7 toll motorway. Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, the main international hub for the region, is approximately 65 kilometres away and accessible in around 45 to 55 minutes by car, with direct flights connecting to most major European cities and beyond. Gibraltar Airport is an alternative for certain routes, located around 80 kilometres to the west.
