The most well-known image of Begur is undoubtedly the medieval castle that overlooks the municipality, but there are also other interesting places to visit, such as:
- Numerous Indian-style houses (colonial-style buildings built by Begur natives who emigrated to the Americas in the 19th century fleeing the economic crisis and later returned with significant fortunes)
- 16th-century defense towers (a legacy from the time when pirates sailed the Mediterranean, built by the people of Begur as a refuge against their attacks)
- The church (a Gothic-style building dedicated to Saint Peter)
- Other historic buildings like the Cultural Casino and the Old Schools.
