THE HOTEL

Crafted with longevity in mind, this over the water eco retreat on Isla Solarte was made with exotic hard woods, and thoughtfully oriented towards the North breeze. A massive communal space and restaurant is central to the concept, equipped with kitchen and bar, and male and female washrooms. The restaurant opens to the public on specific days, hosts live music and private events and serves as the ”living room” for the retreat’s guests. An incredibly versatile building, it is covered and shaded, but open to the panoramic views that encompass the Caribbean sunsets and the turquoise waters of the bay.

Two cabanas flank the central communal space, hosting 2 suites each. Each suite has its own private shower room and toilet room. The bedrooms open to covered veranda space, each with equipped with hammocks and lounge furniture.

On the land there is a 3 bedroom home where the managers live. This space is dedicated to operations with a laundry room and storage as well as the solar system. One of the bedrooms is airconditioned. Outside the home the water tanks stand in rows collecting rain from the roof.

THE LAND

1260 m2 of Isla Solarte are the anchor to this beautiful aqua hotel. Only 10 minutes to town, the property offers seclusion and exclusivity for its guests. The land is charismatic, with palm trees and 2 mango trees and a rock seawall to prevent erosion. One mango tree stands proudly on a hill top , which would be an ideal place for private owner’s quarters, and the other on a little peninsula. Some of the most valuable aspects of the property are the water concession which is a whopping 10,000 square meters, and the opportunity this presents for expansion.
