Nestled in the greenery of Barasso, in the province of Varese, Villa Necchi was built in the late 1930s for the Necchi Campiglio family, one of Milan’s most influential families. Designed by architect Tommaso Buzzi, the villa blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, taking advantage of the natural amphitheater that surrounds it.

The villa’s square floor plan and layout are designed to maximize natural light, with large windows offering breathtaking views of the park and lake. The villa is spread over two levels. The main floor, spanning 1,000 square meters, features spacious living rooms, a panoramic veranda, a dining room, a study, and five bedrooms, each with a private bathroom clad in fine marble. Each room is decorated with custom-designed furnishings by Buzzi, lending a unique and refined touch to the spaces. The service floor, measuring approximately 800 square meters, includes areas originally intended for staff, but now offers a wealth of customization options.

A distinctive architectural feature is the swimming pool, whose shape recalls that of Lake Varese, harmoniously integrating with the surrounding garden. The entire property is surrounded by an 11-hectare park, with a majestic 800-meter driveway. The villa also features a water system with a private spring and a collection basin, ensuring sustainable resource management.
