Girondella represents a new way of living, in harmony with nature and focused on sustainability. The project originates from the transformation of the historic Arogno watch factory, now repurposed as an example of energy-efficient design. The unique shape of the lot, adjacent to the stream fed by the “Sorgente Santa,” allowed the recovery of a hydroelectric turbine capable of generating energy for the entire complex, ensuring high self-sufficiency.

Set within the natural surroundings of Val Mara, the residence is developed on a single level with a rational and harmonious layout.
