Cannes And Saint Tropez Anthéor Waterfront Villa

Saint-Raphaël sits on the Esterel coast between Cannes and Saint-Tropez, where the deep-red porphyry cliffs of the Massif de l’Esterel meet the Mediterranean. The town has been a destination for well-heeled visitors since the Belle Époque, and its coastline remains one of the most geologically distinctive on the Côte d’Azur. The Anthéor sector, to the west of the town centre, sits directly against the Cap Roux protected nature reserve, giving it a character that is markedly wilder and less developed than the broader Riviera.

The town centre of Saint-Raphaël offers a covered market on Place Victor Hugo, a casino, and a working fishing harbour alongside the pleasure port of Santa Lucia. The village of Agay, a short drive along the coast, provides provisioning and waterfront dining. Fréjus, immediately adjacent, adds Roman amphitheatre, arena, and a broader range of retail and services.

Saint-Raphaël has a mainline TGV station with direct services to Paris Gare de Lyon in approximately three hours and to Marseille in under an hour. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 60 kilometres east, reachable in around 50 minutes by car outside peak season. The A8 autoroute connects the town to Cannes in 30 minutes and to Monaco in under 90 minutes.
