Designed by renowned Brazilian architect Ivo Mareines, Casa Folha — The Leaf House is widely regarded as one of Brazil’s most iconic private residences. Set amid the lush tropical landscape of Angra dos Reis, approximately two hours south of Rio de Janeiro, this exceptional waterfront property offers a rare combination of architectural significance, privacy and effortless access to the sea.

Inspired by the organic shape and lightness of a tropical leaf, the residence blends naturally into its surroundings. Its open design, generous volumes and extensive use of natural materials create a fluid connection between the interiors, the gardens and the waterfront.

Arranged over two levels and offering approximately 800 m² of living space, Casa Folha features seven comfortable suites and accommodates up to 14 guests. The expansive living and dining areas are designed for relaxed gatherings, with wide openings that allow natural light, sea breezes and views of the surrounding vegetation to flow throughout the house.

Outside, guests can enjoy a beautiful swimming pool, tropical gardens, a private beach and an exclusive waterfront deck with direct access to the sea. The setting is ideal for peaceful days by the water, family lunches, sunset drinks and boat excursions through the islands of Angra dos Reis.

The property offers a complete range of amenities for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning in the suites and living areas, Wi-Fi, pay television, a private helipad and 24-hour security.

A dedicated household team is also available throughout the stay. The staff includes a cook who can prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a housekeeper and maid responsible for the daily care of the interiors and outdoor areas.

For guests wishing to explore the coast in complete privacy, an Azimut 68 yacht may be rented separately for US$4,000 per day, including a captain and sailor.
