Andratx Villa

Andratx occupies the southwestern corner of Mallorca, where the Tramuntana mountain range meets the sea, and where the island’s most protected and least developed coastline begins. The municipality divides between the hilltop market town of Andratx itself and Port d’Andratx below, one of the most sought-after addresses in the Balearics. The area has long attracted a discreet international community drawn by its combination of dramatic topography, deep-water marina, and relative distance from the mass tourism of the island’s east.

Port d’Andratx offers several well-regarded restaurants along the marina, including Layn and Miramar, alongside the long-established Rocamar. The weekly market in Andratx town runs on Wednesdays. Camp de Mar beach is a short drive east, and the coastal road toward Banyalbufar opens up some of the island’s most dramatic scenery.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 30 kilometres east, reachable in around 30 to 40 minutes by car via the Ma-1 motorway. Palma Airport handles direct flights to most major European cities year-round, with journey time from Andratx of roughly 35 to 45 minutes. There is no rail connection to this part of the island, so a car is essential. Ferry services from Palma connect to Barcelona, Valencia, and Ibiza.
