Alcudia occupies the northern tip of Mallorca, where a narrow isthmus separates the Bay of Pollença from the Bay of Alcudia. The old town, enclosed within largely intact medieval walls, retains a density of Roman and medieval heritage that sets it apart from the resort-heavy south of the island. Port d’Alcudia, its coastal extension, offers a different register: a working marina, long sandy beaches, and a residential fabric that has attracted a consistent northern European buyer base for decades.

The old town’s weekly market on Tuesdays and Sundays draws both residents and visitors. Restaurants along Carrer dels Oms and the port promenade cover everything from Mallorcan cuisine to international dining. Playa de Muro, one of the longest beaches on the island, is a ten-minute drive. Pollença and its Friday market are roughly 15 kilometres away.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 55 kilometres south, reachable in under an hour by car via the Ma-13 motorway. Palma Airport handles direct flights to most major European cities, with journey times of two to three hours to London, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam. Frequent ferry services from Palma connect to Barcelona, Valencia, and Ibiza, making Alcudia well-positioned for buyers who divide time between the island and the mainland.
