Alcudia occupies the northern tip of Mallorca, where a medieval walled town sits within largely intact fourteenth-century fortifications and opens onto one of the island’s most celebrated bays. The old town retains a coherent historic fabric, with narrow limestone streets, Roman ruins beneath the surface, and a scale that resists the overdevelopment found elsewhere on the island. It draws a buyer who wants genuine architectural heritage alongside direct access to the natural landscape of the Tramuntana foothills and the Albufera wetlands.

The weekly market in the old town runs on Tuesdays and Sundays. Restaurants along Carrer dels Hostes and the port area serve fresh seafood year-round. Playa de Alcudia and Playa de Muro are within a short drive, and the S’Albufera Natural Park, a protected wetland reserve, borders the bay to the south.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 54 kilometres to the southwest, reachable in around 45 minutes by car via the Ma-13 motorway. Palma Airport handles direct flights to most major European cities, with journey times of two to three hours to London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Zurich. A ferry service from Port d’Alcudia connects to Ciutadella in Menorca in roughly one hour by fast ferry.
