Alcudia occupies the northern tip of Mallorca, where a medieval walled town sits within largely intact 14th-century fortifications and opens onto one of the island’s most significant natural landscapes. The old town retains its original street grid and stone architecture, giving it a density of historical character that the resort-heavy south of the island cannot match. It draws buyers who want proximity to the sea without sacrificing a genuine sense of place and permanence.

The Tuesday and Sunday markets in the old town are among the largest on the island. Restaurants along Carrer dels Oms and the port area serve fresh seafood year-round. The Playa de Alcudia and Playa de Muro extend for several kilometres to the south, and the protected wetlands of S’Albufera natural park are a short drive away.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 55 kilometres to the southwest, reachable in under an hour by car via the Ma-13 motorway. Palma Airport handles direct flights to most major European cities, with journey times of two to three hours to London, Paris, and Frankfurt. The port of Alcudia also operates regular ferry connections to Ciutadella in Menorca, making inter-island travel straightforward for owners with interests across the Balearics.
