A historic villa from the first decade of the twentieth century located less than 1 km from the center of Albisola Superiore (SV), Villa Lina offers a breathtaking view of the Ligurian Gulf. The villa has been completely redeveloped both in terms of its aesthetic and architectural appearance and from a plant and energy perspective. The project involved the replacement of all window components, thermal insulation of the facades and all floors, and the replacement of the heating system with the installation of new technologies such as solar thermal and heat pump for summer and winter air conditioning. The villa consists of three floors, a sea level, ground floor, and attic floor for an independent volume and a private access annex. What the villa gains in value following the architectural intervention is certainly constituted by its coverings, namely the use of large Neolith slabs both inside the villa and outside on the magnificent terraces overlooking the sea. Each design of each floor reinterprets a language from bygone eras, each designed and thought out specifically in line with the typical style of early 20th-century Art Nouveau villas. The combination of white Calacatta and black Marquinia prevails for a timeless elegance, reinterpreted in every room in a different way to give uniqueness and character to all its rooms, taking care of everything in the smallest details. A precious parquet is also used, both laid in running planks and in a herringbone pattern for the bedrooms for unique comfort, and boiserie on the walls with wonderful wallpaper featuring original designs. Lighting played a key role in the design as elegant lighting fixtures were chosen, consisting mainly of golden metallic materials, crystals, and fabrics. The highest expression of the villa’s style is certainly found in the bathrooms, where the large and very elegant Neolith slabs blend with the wallpaper enriched by precious gold matte finish fittings as well as its matching lighting fixtures, each characterized by unique custom-made carpentry furniture designed to respect the aesthetic canons of the early 1900s. All of this is complemented by a wonderful pool completely clad in wood, framed in the magnificent sea-facing garden. Water cooling system connected to the thermal power station with clean air VMC system. Home automation, wifi. 10 kW photovoltaic water heater for hot water.

Engel & Völkers Savona–Varazze operates professionally across a wide area stretching from Arenzano to Savona, covering both the inland territory and the coastal locations. Among the latter: Varazze, Arenzano, Albissola Marina and Superiore, and Celle Ligure stand out, well-known for their high tourist inflow and for attracting many visitors every year, including from abroad.
The coastal area, equipped with marinas, represents an important piece of the Ligurian heritage: seascapes and enchanting beaches, few step away from the fresh pleasant countryside or even mountain places that surround them, ancient seaside villages, once fishing villages, today cheerful and colourful towns, completed with every service and rich in tradition, charm and warmth. The area also enjoys a strategic position thanks to the short distance from important cities such as Milan and Turin and the particular proximity to the French Riviera. From a logistical point of view, it has excellent connections: airports in all the cities adjacent to it as well as maritime links with Sardinia and Corsica. Savona, in fact, is today an important cruise and merchant hub, confirming a remarkable economic development in recent growth.
