Tourist Complex

Alaior is the third-largest municipality in Menorca, positioned at the geographic heart of the island between Mahón to the east and Ciutadella to the west. It is a working Menorcan town with a well-preserved historic centre, characterised by whitewashed facades, Gothic and Baroque ecclesiastical architecture, and a strong tradition in artisan cheese production and leather goods. The town retains an authentically local character that distinguishes it from the more tourist-oriented coastal resorts.

The town centre offers daily markets, traditional restaurants serving Menorcan cuisine, and independent food producers including the well-known local cheese cooperative. The beaches of Son Bou, the largest on the island, and Cala en Porter are both within a ten-minute drive. Mahón, with its full range of services and international ferry connections, is approximately 15 kilometres east.

Mahón Airport, the island’s only commercial airport, is roughly 12 kilometres from Alaior and handles direct flights to major European cities including London, Barcelona, Madrid, and Frankfurt, with the widest schedule running from April through October. Year-round ferry services from Mahón connect Menorca to Barcelona and Valencia. The central location within Menorca means all points on the island are accessible within 30 minutes by car.
