Charming Finca With Swimming Pool, Near Alaior

Alaior is Menorca’s third-largest town and one of its most architecturally coherent, with a compact historic centre of whitewashed stone buildings, narrow lanes, and the prominent church of Sant Diego rising above the roofline. Positioned at the geographic heart of the island, it sits on a low hill surrounded by agricultural land and traditional fincas. The town has a working, unhurried character that distinguishes it from the more tourist-oriented coastal resorts, while remaining well connected to both coasts.

Daily life centres on the Plaça de la Constitució and the weekly market. The town has a good range of independent food shops, bakeries, and the well-regarded Es Forn restaurant. The beaches of Son Bou and Cala en Porter are reachable in under ten minutes by car, as is the commercial centre of Mercadal.

Alaior sits directly on the Me-1, the main road linking Mahón to Ciutadella, placing both cities within 15 to 20 minutes by car. Mahón Airport is approximately 12 kilometres to the east, around 15 minutes by road, and operates direct flights to major European cities including London, Barcelona, Madrid, and Frankfurt, with the most frequent connections running from spring through early autumn.
