Its architecture responds to the character of the highlands of A Frieira, where stone, slate, and wood define sober and robust constructions, designed to withstand the climate of the high mountain region of Ourense. Its thick walls of local granite and slate roofs preserve the essence of traditional Galician architecture.
In the year 2000, the complex underwent a profound rehabilitation to adapt it for exclusive residential use. Old cellars and stables were integrated into the main house, while the interior balconies, stone access points, and the perimeter stone wall were restored and enhanced, preserving the closed and noble character of the property and ensuring its privacy.
