Villefranche-sur-Mer occupies one of the most coveted positions on the Côte d’Azur, set around a deep natural harbour that has drawn seafarers, artists, and aristocrats for centuries. The old town, with its ochre and terracotta facades rising directly from the waterfront, retains a scale and coherence that larger neighbours have long since lost.
