Vallauris sits on the hills above the Côte d’Azur between Cannes and Antibes, a town shaped as much by its centuries-old ceramics tradition as by its association with Pablo Picasso, who worked here in the late 1940s and left the Château de Vallauris with a monumental painted chapel now preserved as a national museum. The Super Cannes sector, on the elevated southern slopes, commands unobstructed views across the Golfe de la Napoule toward Cap d’Antibes, with a residential character that is distinctly quieter and more private than the Cannes seafront below.

Daily life draws on both Cannes and Antibes. The Marché Forville in Cannes is a fifteen-minute drive, as are the restaurants along the Croisette and rue Félix Faure. Antibes market at Cours Masséna, the old town, and the Picasso Museum are equally accessible. Juan-les-Pins is within ten minutes by car.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 25 kilometres from Vallauris, reachable in around 30 minutes by car under normal traffic conditions, with direct flights to most major European cities and connections beyond. Cannes train station, served by TGV and regional TER services, places Marseille within 90 minutes and Paris within roughly five hours. The A8 motorway provides fast access along the entire Riviera corridor.
