Châteauneuf-Grasse sits on a limestone ridge in the Alpes-Maritimes hinterland, roughly twelve kilometres northwest of Grasse and about thirty kilometres from the coast. The medieval village retains its original fortified core, with narrow stone lanes, a Romanesque church, and views across the Loup valley toward the pre-Alps. Grasse train station connects to Cannes in approximately thirty minutes, with onward TGV services from Cannes or Nice. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is around forty kilometres from Châteauneuf-Grasse, typically forty-five to fifty-five minutes by car depending on traffic. The A8 motorway is accessible via Mougins or Cannes, providing direct links to Monaco, Aix-en-Provence, and the Italian border.
