Saint-Raphaël sits at the western edge of the Côte d’Azur, where the Massif de l’Esterel meets the Mediterranean. Saint-Raphaël has a mainline TGV station with direct services to Paris in approximately three hours and connections to Marseille in under ninety minutes. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately fifty kilometres to the east, reachable in around forty-five minutes by car depending on traffic. The A8 motorway provides straightforward access to both Cannes and the Italian border, making Saint-Raphaël a practical base for the wider western Riviera.
