Bentley Priory

A home of rare distinction, The Dowding Suite is a remarkable three-bedroom penthouse apartment within the Grade II listed Bentley Priory mansion. Steeped in history, this grand residence once hosted royalty and served as the headquarters of RAF Fighter Command during the Battle of Britain. Today, it has been meticulously restored to combine timeless period elegance with modern sophistication.
Arranged over three floors, the apartment showcases a dramatic double-height great room with soaring sash windows and a central glass-panelled staircase. A fully integrated Ballerina kitchen with Miele appliances and a dining area flow seamlessly into a snug/TV corner, creating an inviting space for both entertaining and everyday living.
Three expansive terraces frame sweeping views across 57 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland as well as London’s skyline beyond. The magnificent principal suite crowns the residence, offering a private retreat with its own dressing room, luxury bathroom, and direct access to two roof terraces.
Residents benefit from 24-hour concierge and security, private tennis courts, and four allocated parking spaces (two underground). Despite its peaceful setting, Bentley Priory lies less than 13 miles from Central London, with excellent schools, road links, and Stanmore station just minutes away.
