Villa, Bendinat, Calvià, Maiorca

Bendinat is one of the most established and sought-after residential enclaves on Mallorca’s southwest coast, occupying a pine-covered hillside between Palma and the Portals Nous marina. Old Bendinat in particular carries a reputation for low-density development, mature landscaping, and a sense of privacy that newer coastal developments rarely achieve. The area takes its name from the historic Bendinat castle, and its streets are lined with substantial villas set behind high walls and established gardens.

Puerto Portals marina is a five-minute drive and serves as the social hub of the area, with restaurants including Flanigan and Tristan, boutique retail, and superyacht berths. Bendinat Golf is equally close. The nearest beach, Cala Bendinat, is within walking distance. Palma city centre is approximately 12 kilometres west.

Palma de Mallorca Airport is roughly 15 kilometres from Bendinat, reachable in under 20 minutes by car, making this one of the most airport-convenient locations on the island. Palma itself is a 15 to 20 minute drive along the motorway, giving straightforward access to the city’s cultural institutions, hospitals, and international schools. The airport operates direct routes to most major European cities year-round, with frequency increasing significantly between April and October.
