The Carretera de Cadiz corridor, running west along the Malaga coastline toward the Guadalhorce estuary, has emerged as the city’s most actively developing beachfront address. Directly fronting the Paseo Antonio Banderas, this stretch combines immediate Mediterranean access with proximity to the Malaga city fabric. The promenade itself is wide, well-maintained, and used daily by residents rather than tourists, giving the area a grounded, residential character distinct from the historic centre.

The Paseo Antonio Banderas connects on foot to El Palo and the Baños del Carmen beach complex to the east, and to the Muelle Uno port area and Mercado de Atarazanas within a short drive west. Restaurante El Cabra and La Chancla are established local dining references along this coastal strip. The Carrefour on Avenida de Velazquez covers daily shopping needs.

Malaga Maria Zambrano station, serving high-speed AVE connections to Madrid in under two hours and to Seville in approximately one hour, is roughly ten minutes by car.
