There are only a few plots left on the island of Horst that reach all the way to the water. This is one of them. The real treasure is the jetty with a platform and swimming ladder, from which the view extends to Lake Schwerin. Its retention has been applied for and classified as approvable by the water authority. New jetties on this shore are no longer approved.

The island of Horst is located in the Teupitz-Köriser lake chain in the Dahme-Spreewald district, about 50 kilometers south of Berlin. Belonging to the Schwerin district of the town of Teupitz, it is a place where water is seen and felt almost everywhere. The plot lies on the northern shore of Lake Teupitz. The view looks south over the water, with Lake Schwerin opening up in the background.

Life on the island is peaceful. A narrow access road serves the properties, with no through traffic. The neighborhood consists of weekend and residential houses, mostly generously integrated into nature. In front of the shore lies the small Liebesinsel, a familiar sight for all who sit by the water here.

Those who enjoy being on the water will find ideal conditions here. The lakes of the Teupitz-Köriser chain are connected by waterways and invite sailing, paddling, rowing, and fishing. On land, bike and hiking trails run through forests and along the shores.

Everyday needs are still met. In Teupitz, Schwerin, and Groß Köris, there are shopping facilities, restaurants, schools, and medical care. The Groß Köris motorway junction provides quick access to the A13 motorway and thus to Berlin and BER Airport. Trains run from the Groß Köris regional station towards Berlin.
