Residenza Unifamiliare A Santa Monica

Architectural gem by Kulapat Yantrasast, who recently redesigned the Rockefeller Wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and is currently designing a 60,000 SF wing for the Louvre. This ocean-view house is one of the only private residences by Yantrasast, an AD100 architect and the longtime protege of Tadao Ando. Bathed in natural light, this one-of-a-kind cedar finned home features a giant Schweiss industrial bi-fold window that hydraulically opens the westside of the home to ocean breezes. Everything in the open plan, two-story house is custom built and designed, from the massive front door to the suspended, see-through staircase. An expansive rooftop deck features panoramic ocean views. Rare opportunity to buy one of the first and only residential architectural masterpieces by Kulapat Yantrasast of WHY Architecture.
