Villa Santa Eularia Des Riu

Santa Eulària des Riu is the most consistently residential of Ibiza’s five municipalities, known for its relatively unhurried character and a coastline that runs from the town beach northward through a series of quieter coves. The town itself retains a functioning year-round community, anchored by the whitewashed hilltop church of Puig de Missa, one of the island’s most recognizable landmarks. The surrounding countryside is classic Ibizan rural terrain: dry stone walls, ancient sabina trees, and finca estates set within large plots of agricultural land.

The town center offers a covered market on the Passeig de s’Alamera, a working marina, and a reliable restaurant strip along the seafront. Cala Llenya, Cala Nova, and Es Canar are all within a ten-minute drive. Ibiza Town, with its UNESCO-listed Dalt Vila and full range of services, is approximately 15 kilometers to the southwest.

Ibiza Airport is roughly 20 kilometers from Santa Eulària, a drive of around 25 minutes via the C-733. The airport operates year-round, with direct connections to major European cities including London, Madrid, Barcelona, and Frankfurt. During summer months, frequency increases substantially. Inter-island ferry services to Formentera, Mallorca, and the Spanish mainland operate from Ibiza Town’s port, accessible in under 20 minutes by car.
