Villa Sant Elm

Sant Elm is a small, low-density coastal village on the far southwestern tip of Mallorca, within the municipality of Andratx. It sits at the edge of the Serra de Tramuntana, the UNESCO World Heritage mountain range, and looks directly across a narrow channel to the uninhabited island of Sa Dragonera, a protected nature reserve. The village retains the scale and character of its origins as a fishing settlement, with a single seafront promenade and minimal commercial development.

The seafront passeig has several restaurants and cafes serving fresh fish, including Es Mollet and La Paloma. The beach is a short walk from any point in the village. Andratx town, with its weekly market and broader services, is approximately 10 kilometres inland by car. Port d’Andratx, one of Mallorca’s most established yacht harbours with upscale dining, is around 8 kilometres away.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 45 kilometres from Sant Elm, a drive of around 50 minutes via the Ma-1 motorway through Andratx. Palma Airport handles direct flights to most major European cities and several intercontinental routes, with journey time from Sant Elm of roughly one hour by car. There is no rail connection to this part of the island; private car or taxi is the standard means of transport for residents.
