Sant Antoni de Portmany sits on the western coast of Ibiza, facing directly into the open sea and the setting sun. It is one of the island’s most established resort towns, known across Europe for its sunset culture, its working harbour, and a seafront promenade that draws both long-term residents and seasonal visitors. The town has a genuine year-round community, a commercial centre with real infrastructure, and a coastal character that is distinctly more animated than the quieter villages of the island’s interior.

The Passeig de ses Fonts promenade runs along the bay and connects the town centre to Cala des Moro and the western beaches. Café del Mar and Café Mambo are the established sunset venues. The covered market on Carrer de Cervantes serves daily produce needs. Cala Salada, one of Ibiza’s most protected coves, is a ten-minute drive north.

Sant Antoni is approximately 14 kilometres from Ibiza Town, a 20-minute drive via the C-731. The island’s international airport, Ibiza Airport, is roughly 15 kilometres to the southeast, around 20 minutes by car. A regular ferry service connects Sant Antoni to Ibiza Town and to Formentera during the summer season. The port also receives direct ferry connections from Barcelona and Valencia on the mainland.
