Daily life centres on the Place des Lices market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, the restaurants along the Quai Jean Jaurès, and the beaches of Pampelonne, roughly five kilometres south. Saint-Tropez has no train station. The nearest rail connection is at Saint-Raphaël, approximately 35 kilometres by road, with TGV services to Paris in roughly four hours. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is the primary gateway, around 100 kilometres away, typically 90 minutes to two hours by car depending on season. Helicopter transfers from Nice to the Saint-Tropez heliport take approximately 30 minutes and are widely used by residents.
