Daily life centres on the Place des Lices market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, the restaurants along the Quai Jean Jaurès, and the beaches of Pampelonne, roughly five kilometres south. Sénéquier on the port is the reference café. Gassin and Ramatuelle are both within ten minutes by car for quieter dining and provisioning.

Saint-Tropez has no train station. The nearest rail connection is at Saint-Raphaël, approximately 35 kilometres west, with TGV services to Paris in roughly five hours. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is the primary gateway, around 100 kilometres east, typically one hour and fifteen minutes by car outside peak summer traffic. Helicopter transfers from Nice to the Saint-Tropez heliport take approximately 30 minutes and are widely used by residents during July and August.
