Villa Belle époque Con Vista Mare

Saint-Raphaël occupies a privileged position on the Esterel coast, where the deep red porphyry cliffs of the Massif de l’Esterel meet the Mediterranean. The town has a distinct Belle Époque identity, shaped by its late 19th-century rise as a resort for Parisian society, and that architectural legacy remains visible across its seafront and residential hillsides. It sits between Cannes and Saint-Tropez, with a character that is more rooted and residential than either.

The old port area anchors daily life, with the market on Place Victor Hugo running Tuesday through Sunday. Restaurants along the Promenade René Coty and around the port include Le Sirocco and La Voile d’Or. The beaches of Boulouris and Agay are within a short drive, and the Esterel hiking trails begin at the edge of town.

Saint-Raphaël has a mainline TGV station with direct services to Paris Gare de Lyon in approximately three hours and to Marseille in under an hour. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is roughly 60 kilometres east, accessible in around 45 minutes by car. The A8 motorway connects the town to Cannes in 30 minutes and to Monaco in under 90 minutes, making it a practical base for the wider Riviera.
