Roquebrune-sur-Argens occupies a distinctive position in the Var department, stretching from the red rock massif of the Estérel down to the Mediterranean coastline at Saint-Aygulf. The coastal section, facing the Golfe de Fréjus, offers direct beach access along a relatively unspoiled stretch of the Côte d’Azur, where the density and commercialisation that characterise much of the Riviera further east have been kept largely in check. The combination of protected natural landscape and genuine seafront access at this scale is increasingly rare along this coast.

Saint-Aygulf village provides daily essentials within walking distance of the beachfront, including a weekly market and a selection of seafront restaurants. Fréjus, four kilometres away, offers a broader range of dining, supermarkets, and medical services. Saint-Raphaël is a further five minutes by car and has a wider commercial centre, covered market, and established restaurant scene along its waterfront.

Saint-Raphaël train station, approximately six kilometres from Saint-Aygulf, sits on the main TGV-connected coastal line, with direct services to Marseille in around one hour and to Nice in under an hour. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is roughly 70 kilometres east, accessible in approximately one hour by car via the A8 autoroute. Toulon-Hyères Airport lies around 80 kilometres to the west and serves a growing number of European routes.
