Sa Pobla is a working agricultural town in the heart of the Raiguer region of Mallorca, set on the flat, fertile plain known as Es Pla de sa Pobla, between the Serra de Tramuntana mountains to the west and the Albufera wetlands to the east. It has a distinctly local, unhurried character that sets it apart from the more tourist-oriented towns of the island, with a compact historic centre built around the Plaça de la Constitució and the church of Sant Antoni Abat.

Day to day, sa Pobla offers a well-stocked weekly market on Sundays, a good range of local restaurants and cafés around the main square, and direct access to the Parc Natural de s’Albufera, one of the most important wetland reserves in the Balearics. Alcúdia and its beaches are roughly ten minutes by car, and Pollença is around fifteen minutes.

Sa Pobla sits approximately 40 kilometres north of Palma, reachable in around 40 minutes by car via the Ma-13 motorway. A regional train line connects sa Pobla directly to Palma’s Estació Intermodal, with a journey time of roughly one hour. Palma de Mallorca Airport, the main international gateway for the Balearics with direct routes across Europe and beyond, is approximately 45 kilometres away, around 45 minutes by car.
