Sa Pobla sits in the flat agricultural heartland of northern Mallorca, surrounded by the fertile plains that have defined the town’s identity for centuries. It is a working Mallorcan town, largely untouched by the tourism infrastructure that shapes the coast, with a compact historic centre, a strong local market culture, and a character that remains distinctly Balearic. The Serra de Tramuntana rises to the west, and the Albufera wetlands lie just to the east.

The weekly Sunday market in sa Pobla is one of the most authentic on the island. Port de Pollença, with its waterfront restaurants including Stay and La Llenties, is around 15 minutes by car. The beaches of Playa de Muro and the Albufera Natural Park are within 10 minutes. Pollença town and Alcúdia are both under 20 minutes.

Palma is approximately 45 minutes by car via the Ma-13 motorway, giving straightforward access to the island’s main commercial and cultural hub. Palma de Mallorca Airport is roughly 50 minutes by road and operates year-round international routes to most major European cities, with significantly expanded connections from April through October. There is no direct rail link from sa Pobla to the airport, though a regional train connects the town to Palma city centre in around one hour.
