This beautiful house at Villagatan 15 was built in 1930, on plot number 3 in the Lommen quarter. The original drawings from 1930 already reveal a carefully considered architectural vision, designed by architect Charles Petri Elmström, who was active in north-western Skåne and left a distinctive mark on the residential architecture of the 1930s.

The upper floor included both a maid’s room and a nursery adjoining the bedrooms, while separate rooms were dedicated to the various functions of the household – including a ladies’ sitting room and a gentlemen’s room. It offers a fascinating glimpse into how an affluent family home was planned almost a century ago.

Since 1977, when the property changed hands, it has remained in the same family. This means that only two families have called the house home during its nearly one-hundred-year history.
