Storico Pazo Del XVI Secolo Con Boschi E Vigneti A Cenlle

This imposing 16th century Galician pazo is located in Cenlle, in the heart of the Ribeiro region, 11 km from Carballiño, 12 km from Ribadavia and 30 minutes from Ourense. The property has 44,814 m² (11.1 acres) of land and 1,873 m² built distributed in multiple buildings.

The complex is completely walled and accessed through a majestic wooden gate crowned by a large noble coat of arms. The buildings are organized around two interior courtyards connected by a second gate with viewpoint and balcony.

The main house includes large living room, library, kitchen with fireplace, another old kitchen with traditional fireplace, meat dryer and wood oven. A second two-story building houses the old stables, cellar and upper rooms where artisan work was performed.

The chapel, stone-vaulted, has a retable in excellent state of conservation and large clock on the facade. It can be accessed from the main house, interior courtyard or directly from the street.

Outside the walled enclosure extend lands with vegetable garden area, large forest and 3 hectares (7.4 acres) of vineyard. The property also includes exterior cellars that need rehabilitation.

The pazo enjoys excellent road communication and is located very close to the historic Monastery of San Clodio, one of the most important monastic centers in Galicia.
