Casa DI Paese DI 3.5 Locali A Riex

Riex, center of the village, between vineyards and lake. The Stettler House has stood here since 1680. Listed in the cantonal inventory, it retains its arched door on the south facade, classified as a historical monument.
The accommodation occupies four levels, for approximately 100 m² of living space. The entrance leads to a boudoir, a guest WC, and generous storage. On the living floor, the 25 m² living room connects to an 18.5 m² kitchen that opens onto the balcony. The void over the living room creates a double height that is unexpected in a village house. On the top floor, under the roof, the bedroom with double dressing and its bathroom illuminated by a Velux.
In the basement, cellar, laundry room, boiler room, and a private sauna with shower, replaced in 2024.
Maintenance has been followed year after year: bathroom redone in 2013, parquet laid in 2014, updated kitchen. Annual charges: approximately CHF 7,560.-.
Riex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Lavaux. Cully is 3 minutes away, Lausanne 15. An address for a couple or a single person who wants to experience Lavaux from the inside, in old walls and a well-maintained home.
