7 Standish Street, Provincetown, Massachusetts, 02657

On the corner of Standish and Freeman, steps from Commercial Street, 7 Standish Street is a piece of Provincetown history. For nearly fifty years this corner was home to Napi and Helen Van Dereck and their legendary Napi’s Restaurant. Longtime champions of the Center for Coastal Studies, they supported its work for decades, including hosting its lecture series for years, and their gift of this property carries that commitment to forward the Center’s mission. The corner building is a two-family with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths across three levels, decks on every level, and a lower level that once served as a workshop. Behind it, a separate studio building offers generous storage below and studio space with a full bath above. With excellent natural light, Monument views, and parking for two cars, the possibilities are wide open: a home with an artist’s studio, space for family and guests, or a thoughtful renovation that writes this corner’s next chapter. Betterment has been paid off.
