Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Palazzo Estate presenta una delle residenze d’epoca più belle e prestigiose della provincia di Pisa. Questa affascinante proprietà, costruita a partire dal XVIII secolo, rappresenta uno dei luoghi più suggestivi del territorio pisano.
La villa progettata da Alessandro Gherardesca si apre su uno spazio verde: «il giardino segreto» che con le sue aiuole e i giochi d’acqua della fontana conduce alla limonaia. Immersa in un parco di 1,3 ettari, caratterizzato da alberi secolari e una vegetazione ben curata che si evolve con le stagioni, questa residenza offre un’oasi di tranquillità e privacy senza pari, le dimensioni e la bellezza del parco, un’eccezione nella regione, rappresentano un vero tesoro, avvolgendo la villa in un’atmosfera di esclusività e serenità. La villa principale si sviluppa su 4 livelli, per un totale di 1700 metri quadrati di superficie abitabile. Nel 1964 fu scelta come set per alcune scene del film A Yellow Rolls-Royce di Anthony Asquith, con Alain Delon e Ingrid Bergman. La famiglia abitò nella villa fino al 1975, dopodiché visse venticinque anni di grave abbandono, fino al 2000, quando fu interessata da ampi lavori di restauro.
Il tetto a falsa balconata era originale, mentre la facciata presenta aperture simmetriche, con un grande stemma in terracotta sulla sommità. All’interno, il piano terra e il primo piano sono organizzati attorno a una sala centrale, con lo stesso motivo della serliana. Gli affreschi che decorano le varie stanze e le piccole stanze sono stati realizzati in epoche successive e spaziano da figure mitologiche nello stile sobrio di Luigi Catani, alle fantasie a stencil ottocentesche, fino alle fantasie floreali dello stile Liberty. Il giardino ha una struttura neoclassica con un grande semicerchio circondato da colonne e con palme al centro davanti alla facciata principale della villa, mentre a sud c’è un giardino recintato all’italiana (giardino segreto), dove si trovano anche una piccola cappella (del 1803) e una limonaia con un’apertura caratterizzata da colonne. Sul retro c’è un romantico parco in stile inglese. Una piscina completa la proprietà.

In 1964 it was chosen as the set for some scenes of the film A Yellow Rolls-Royce by Anthony Asquith, with Alain Delon and Ingrid Bergman. The family lived in the villa until 1975, after which it lived twenty-five years of serious abandonment, until 2000, when it was affected by extensive restoration work.
The false balcony roof was original, while the façade shows symmetrical openings, with a large terracotta coat of arms on the top. Inside, the ground and first floors are organized around a central hall, with the same motif as the serliana. The frescoes that decorate the various rooms and small rooms were created in later periods and range from mythological figures in the sober style of Luigi Catani, to nineteenth-century stencil fantasies, up to the floral fantasies of the Liberty style. The garden has a neoclassical structure with a large semi-circle surrounded by columns and with palm trees in the center in front of the main façade of the villa, while to the south there is an Italian-style walled garden (secret garden), where there is also a small chapel (from 1803) and a lemon house with an opening characterized by columns. At the back there is a romantic English-style park. A swimming pool completes the property.
