Elisir

Elixir is positioned on the northern side of Paros, a low-set Cycladic residence surrounded by open skies, agricultural landscape and long views toward the sea and neighbouring islands. Built in the traditional whitewashed style of the Cyclades, the property combines simple architectural lines with expansive outdoor living areas designed to follow the rhythm of summer on the island.

Approached through landscaped pathways and dry stone planting beds, the villa unfolds across a series of connected terraces, shaded pergolas and open courtyards. The architecture remains deliberately restrained: cubic volumes, pale stone flooring, exposed timber ceilings and soft grey joinery reflecting the natural light that moves through the house throughout the day. From nearly every part of the property, the eye is drawn outward toward the water, the distant hills and the changing colours of the Parian sky.

The principal house contains four bedrooms arranged around generous open-plan living and dining spaces. Inside, the atmosphere is calm and understated, with built-in seating, natural fabrics and carefully selected wood furnishings adding warmth to the cool white interiors. Large openings connect the main sitting room directly to the terraces and pool, allowing sea breezes to move naturally through the interiors during the warmer months. An open brick fireplace anchors the living space during the quieter seasons, while the kitchen combines functionality with the informal ease expected of a house designed for long island stays.

Two independent guest houses extend the accommodation while preserving privacy for both owners and visitors. The first guest residence contains two en-suite bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, while the second offers an additional bedroom suite with its own small kitchen and sitting area. This arrangement allows the estate to function equally well for extended family living or hosting guests across the summer season without compromising the sense of space.

Outdoor living is central to the experience of Elixir. Wide terraces surround the large swimming pool, with sun loungers positioned to face the sea and the distant mountains beyond Naousa. Covered pergolas create shaded dining and sitting areas throughout the day, while the outdoor kitchen and long dining table naturally become gathering points as evening light settles across the landscape. An olive tree casts shifting shadows across one of the courtyards, and from the upper terraces the sunset gradually washes the surrounding hills in warm gold and rose tones.

Despite its peaceful setting, the property remains close to some of Paros’ most sought-after destinations. Naousa is reached within approximately seven minutes, while Santa Maria beach lies only five minutes away, allowing easy access to both the island’s coastline and harbour town life.
